Alma Schnell has two yearly studio performances which are performed to benefit the community. She is a firm believer in sharing performing arts with the community.

Every Christmas she organizes a performance for the families at the De Colores shelter. Every child or adult who is performing adopts a person or a family from the shelter and has the opportunity to deliver personally the Christmas gifts to the adopted child or family. After we perform for the families, we share dinner with them. This performance allows us as a community of artists to share our artistic endeavors with those around us while bringing Christmas spirit to those less fortunate than ourselves.

Our annual summer performance is a show that allows our students to work with professional artists from the valley. Professionals and students work together to bring to the valley a performance of the highest quality. As a group of artist we work to raise money for two different non-profit organizations, such as the Red Cross and Brazos Abiertos.

Sharing our love for the arts with our community has always been an important aspect of this studio. It allows artists to work together as a community for a greater good.
